A Solution for the C100 Z Finder Pro

I've owned my C100 now since November 2013, and the biggest issue I've had out in the field has been critical focus.  I began trying to solve this issue by placing a Zacuto eyepiece over the teeny tiny viewfinder on the camera with moderate luck.

I was pretty happy with the setup - until I had a big shoot where I didn't have time to mess with checking and rechecking focus over and over.

YouTube vs. Vimeo

One of the most common questions I get asked in my profession is “what’s the difference between vimeo and YouTube?”  In fact, a gentleman I just met last week -PJ Dunn - asked me that very question at a network meeting we were attending.

I’ll try to cover the general differences and similarities between these two video hosting sites, their advantages and disadvantages, and which you should use.

What The Heck Is Video SEO And Why Do I Need It?

My friend Rickey Wright, owner of Cabrera Wright Company, asked me today about video SEO.   He had made a discovery recently on his personal website that when he posted a video he’d made on the main page of his website, his traffic increased.  The video itself doesn’t have a lot of hits, but when you do a search for specific terms, his site and video are at the top of the rankings.

A Review of the Canon C100

If you get the image here, you'll know the primary reason I bought a C100.  Of course there were other factors which I'll get into below, but that's the main one.

This review doesn't delve deeply into all of the specs of a C100, rather it addresses the reasons I purchased one and why I think it's the right piece of kit for me.
